Avatar Rant and Trailer

Okay I have a need to rant at the moment, hopefully won't be too long (since I should be doing homework) but i need to rant!

Any Avatar the Last Airbender fans out there? If you're not, don't bother reading xD But anyway, if you are a fan, you're probably like me and everyone else out there who are going insane with the lack of episodes out there. It's like GAH UPDATE NICKELODEON ALREADY, UPDATE!! Though my little sister get's the Nick Magazine and I saw a page in there about their new DVD, which is Book 3 (Fire) with episodes 11-15 I think it was, which will be out sometime early May I think. Now if you live in the US like me, you'll notice that they've only showed up to episode 11 here (Day of the Black Sun Pt. 2), but if any of you are as impatient as me, you probably watched episodes 12 and 13 of Book 3 online already, which as far as I know has ONLY showed in CANADA. What's up with that? I don't understand that...but anyway, that leads me to believe they'll start showing new episodes soon then, right?

Wrong.

I haven't been able to tell if there will be new episodes any time soon, but all I've seen has lead me to believe there will probably not be any. So, what, they're going to put it on sale before they show it on TV? Grawhr, that's utterly annoying...

But hey, guess what I found! Apparently the trailer for the Book 3 finale was let out in NYCC (New York Comic Con), you can find it all over youtube ([link]) and probably other places too. And I must say, it looks rather... AWESOME. O_O (especially for Zutara and Tokka fans) Zuko seems to play a bigger part in the 'Gaang' now, and lots of action and... well lots of awesomeness! Just see it for yourself, you'll love it xD

Just one thing... at the very end, it says "The Journey Concludes... July 2008"
JULY!?! Are they trying to TORTURE us!? *sob* Though I guess it's not so long, compared to all the hiatuses they've been doing... but this ain't fair because I'm gonna be gone most of July as far as I know T_T
*head/desk* I want new episodes noooooowww *whine* *impatient*

But seriously, go look up the trailer!

I think that's when it ends in July, I think it'll start coming back up in may or around that time, but it doesn't matter for me because I'll be heading overseas soon and I'll be computer-less (most likely)

Oh right, I forgot to say that I am an avatar fan :'D

And they're showing the newer episodes in Brazil before they are showing it in any other English speaking countries, that's more messed up than Canada showing the episodes first ;o

Aye it is annoying that the fact that they're going to sell the episodes before they actually show the show but it's better than nothing ;o

That would make sense too. But still, I'm impatient! Will you be TV-less? because you can still watch it when it eventually airs. Have fun wherever you're going!

They're showing them in Brazil first? How screwed up is that!? I thought Avatar was American/Canadian made... I mean i can understand being shown in Canada first, though that still bugs me that they STILL haven't shown it in the US when Canada has, but come on... Brazil? *grumbles*

Yeah it is, but I guess they're hoping to make more money that way (which they just might since we all want to see them so bad). Hopefully they'll show them soon though, I've heard they've released the episode names for episode 16 and 17 too! But names are different then the actually episode...

I will probably have a T.V, but by the end of May I won't be even in this country! I'm going to Israel for the summer Dx The heat and knowing the fact that I can't speak Arabic (or Hebrew for that matter) I'm going to have a hard time surviving.

Yeah I know what you mean by that! It's like having your birthday party, buying your own birthday cake but Canada and Brazil get the first pieces of the cake D;

I bet that's what they're planning but they also making a live action avatar movie so I think they were extending it to meet up with the movie (though it's not coming out for another two years Dx )

Ah true... but hopefully there'll be a way you can see it ^^; Don't ask me how... but let's just say you will and then maybe karma will kick in or something xD Israel? That's cool!! Sucks that you can't speak Arabic or Hebrew, (I heard Hebrew was a pain, my friend tried learning it but gave up). Heat does suck, I'd rather have it colder because then you just need to put on layers, rather then it being overly hot where all you can do is hope for shade, find water, and fan yourself until you can find AC. But Israel still sounds like an amazing place to go, packed with history (and still many disputes..) But yeah, I think it sounds fun! Hope you have fun! You could always try taking an Arabic course to know the basics at least; I'm going to Honduras this summer and have to relearn some spanish that no one ever taught me well. Most people appreciate when you at least try to learn/speak the language , even if you butcher it xD

Oh yeah I heard that too, about the live action movie! I guess it should have been suspected but I was surprised to hear about it. I'm hoping they don't ruin it. But they still shouldn't torture us so much just to wait for that! We want new episodes first, not live action recap... x[
